Hill View Home for Older People is a unique family community providing
around the clock care and assistance for
British ex pats, we can accommodate for the frail, elderly and those suffering
from dementias and illnesses, as well as terminal care within our home
Tenerife Nursing & Care S.L help us to provide holistic care in a
small and personal environment and we keep it homely so as to alleviate the
stress and anxiety of the transition from your home to ours.
We aim to provide an environment where we can continue our lives
with Dignity, Respect, Choice and Love
Through these aims we are creating a warm and homely atmosphere with
caring, compassionate and sensitive carers there to help us as needed.
Hillview was developed 5 years ago because of the needs of a group of ex
pats who could not afford 24hour nursing care on an individual basis and not
wishing to return to the UK to receive extra care, nor to go into Spanish
Nursing Homes, because of language problems, so because of this a small
community was formed to share the costs, as places become vacant, we can offer
these places to other individuals so keep the expenses down.
We also welcome guests for the day or the week; Respite is also
available from over night to weekly stays
We provide a unique environment for those who wish to remain living on Tenerife, but need that
extra security and care in later live
At Hill View we ask for contributions to expenses, these are affordable
for most people, and are all inclusive of board and lodgings, laundry and
nursing care as well as regular outings to restaurants and attractions around
the island.We also have a full in house
activity and exercise programme according to the daily needs of our guests at
no extra cost.
We have regular visits from the doctor, a hairdresser, chiropodist,
physiotherapist and a beauty therapist again at no extra charge
All the carers and nurses are provided by Tenerife Nursing & Care
S.L and all are British ex pats hand picked for their understanding and caring
nature.
If it is necessary for the guest to have specialist equipment i.e.
electric bed, hoist, etc then these expenses must be met by the individual
client who will be free to dispose of the equipment when they leaves the
premises.
The costs are reviewed on every
six months. . Discount can be made for
monthly invoice customers
Our Day guests are provided with transport and lunch, as well as the
full use of our walk in shower if required, and you can take advantage of the
hairdresser, chiropodist and other therapists if you wish
Our aims and objectives are to promote a flexible approach to care
which recognises the need for individuality and respect for resident’s previous
lifestyles.
We aim to provide for the most basic needs of the older people in our home,
through these aims we are creating a warm and homely atmosphere, with staff who
are caring, supportive, compassionate and sensitive to the needs of older
people and their families.
